Three times a number increased by ten is equal to twenty less than six times the number. Find the number

Answer :

Let,

the no. be x

ATQ.

3x + 10 = 20 - 6x

3x + 6x = 20 - 10

9x = 10

x = 10/9

Therefore,

the required no. is 10/9
