Three vertices of a rectangle are (3, 2), (4, 2) and (- 4, 5). Plot these points and find the coordinates of the fourth vertex.​

The coordinates of fourth vertex of the rectangle for the given three vertices are (3,5)

Finding the coordinates of the fourth vertex of the rectangle using graph paper :

As the fisrt step, plot the given three vertices on the graph paper as A,B, and C .We need to find the fouth vertex i.e D.

From graph, AB = 7 units and BC = 3 units.

As we know that opposite sides of a rectangle are equal, therefore AB = CD = 7 units and BC = AD = 3 units.

To find D , plot a point 3 units above A and 7 units to the left of C.

The point obtained so is (3,5) which is the fourth vertex D of the rectangle ABCD.
