Lack of safe water and sanitation in houses and schools is bound to affect the children’s learning and their lives. Many children below the age of 5 have lost their lives due to diarrhea and other hygiene-related diseases. It also causes missing school days and learning due to the diseases.

 

1.       Unsafe water – affects the health of children making them sick due to diarrhea and other hygiene-related diseases.

2.       Lack of hygiene and sanitation

3.       Girls also tend to discontinue studies and education due to unclean water and unsafe hygienic conditions.
