Three wheeled revolution is a story of successful entrepreneur Ifran Alam, who suggested on redesigning rickshaws and equipping it with music, newspapers, first aid kits, refreshments and advertisements.
The thought of this idea came into his mind when he was in his teen age and was travelling through rickshaw and he was feeling thirsty and asked for the water from the rickshaw driver and he said that it can't be provided as he doesn't have money to buy and Stack water in rickshaw, that day Alam realized about the plight of rickshaw pullers. He formed samman in 2007, to organize all the rickshaw pullers and to give them a good livelihood.
He came up with the rickshaw that has first aid kit, water, music and trained rickshaw pullers about basic traffic rules. The Samman gave them a sense of belongingness. Children and spouse of the rickshaw pullers were given night classes which was known as Samman Gyan. The social venture around few years became the social cause, and empowered the rickshaw pullers.
