Three workers built half of a wall. the other half was built by 6 others . (1) what fraction of the wall did each in the first group build? (2) what fraction of the wall did each in the next group built ?​

First group consists of 3 people and they built half the wall.

3 people - > 50% or 0.5

1 - > 0.5/(3) = 1/6

Hence each person in first group built 1/6th of the wall

Second group consist of 6 people and built the remaining half

0.5/(6) = 1/12

Hence each person in 2nd group built 1/12th of the wall
