The above statement is FALSE, because Time has only a direction (not the spatial direction I am talking about here) which is forward.
Now, I am going to propose a thought experiment.
Consider time to be having a positive direction in the positive X-axis. It is then evident that time can not change in Y, Z or any linear combination of the three axes except the case [1,0,0].
Now, imagine a global coordinate system placed at a reference point in space. Where ever one is standing he is experiencing the same motion of time. or in other words, time is seen to be invariant with space (Talking in perspective of earth time).
So, time being invariant with space qualifies it to be a SCALAR QUANTITY, which always belongs to the positive group of real number.
Hope it helped u frnd!

False, because in physics, a vector is a component which shows the direction of the magnitude in space. Time actually has no physical or spatial direction.
You can't tell pointing at a certain direction saying that 'in this direction time is moving'.
We can say that time is always moving towards future, but where? Can you point where Future is?
More over talking about future that time is relative, so there is no such thing like Past or Future.
