Read ur chapters clearly.. n if u have self study then by-heart it....
In mathematics
completely solve ur whole ncert book...and then solve previous years question paper but if u don't have then don't take tension just go through some latest sample papers...

1) thorough knowledge of your syllabus:-
it is very important to have the thorough knowledge of the syllabus.
2) take help from the sample papers:-
You can take help from sample papers. solving the sample paper means that u revised your whole syllabus.
3) make brief notes:-
you should make brief notes of whatever your teacher shares with you.
4) do not leave it for the end:-
start preparing for your exams when the session begins, don't leave it for the end.
