Tip Sultan's love for plants was very famous during his ruler days in the Kingdom of Mysore. He never committed any violence but would become very angry with the offenders. He used to give them the punishment with the lesson to be learnt for lifetime. He made them to plant trees, water them and take care of them till the time they reach to a particular height.

(1). The purpose of this punishment was that the offenders must do something positive in back to whatever the loss they'd made suffer to the Awam (public). It would give oxygen, fruits, and shadows.

(2). Still in Telangana this punishment is applicable. If you violate any traffic rule, then you have to plant a tree. For about 3000 trees has been planted by the people who broke the traffic rules.

Tipu Sultan was a very famous ruler in the kingdom of Mysore because of his love for flowers. Though he hated violence but he gets very angry if someone breaks any rule or law. His way of giving punishment to offenders was quite different from others he used to make trees plant from the offenders and make them take its care until it grows to a appropriate height.

1. By this the offender can get to know about his mistake and he would also give something back to the society in a positive manner.

2. Still this punishment is being followed up by the traffic police of Telangana and also more than 3000 trees has been planted by the people who violate the law and rules.
