Let the no.s be x y and z
Then
x + y+ z = 98
x:y = 2:3 and y : z = 5:8
Now we need to make the values of y same in both ratios
So we multiply 5 to first ratio and get = 10:15
and 3 to 2nd ratio and get = 15:24
As now value of y is same in both so the ratio of x : y : z is now 10:15:24

Let the Ratio be a
So ,
10a+15a +24a = 98
49a=98
a= 2
So 2nd number is 15a = 15* 2 = 30
