To calculate the value of ' g ' , acceleration due to gravity.

g = GM/R²

G = 6.7 × 10⁻¹¹ Nm²/kg² ( constant )

M = 6 × 10 ²⁴ Kg ( Mass of the earth )

R = 6.4 × 10⁶m ( Radius of the earth )

Now, I am here Substituting the values in the above equation :

g = GM/R²

= 6.7 × 10⁻¹¹ Nm²/kg² × 6 × 10 ²⁴ Kg / ( 6.4 × 10⁶m )²

= 9.8 m/s²

( VALUE OF 'g' = ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY )

       ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY = 'g'

  • It changes from place to place. At pole value of ' g ' is more than at equator.
