let alpha and beta be the two zeros of given polynomial.

Alpha = √ 2

and beta = - 2 √ 2.

put x = √ 2 we have

 {  ( \sqrt{2} ) }^{2}  +  \sqrt{2}  \times  \sqrt{2}  - 4 \\  = 2 + 2 - 4 \\  = 0

now put x = - 2 √ 2

 {(  - 2\sqrt{2}) }^{2}  +  \sqrt{2}  \times ( -2  \sqrt{2} ) - 4 \\ =  8  - 4 - 4 \\  = 0

so √ 2 & - 2 √ 2 are the zeros of given polynomial
