Let the number of days work done by B be x
A takes (x + x√2) = 1.5 x days to complete same work
together = AB/(A + B)

18 = 1.5x²/(1.5x + x) = 1.5x/2.5 = 3x × 5
x = 30
Therefore B takes 30 days to complete work
and A takes 45 days to complete same work
