The rate of diffusion varies with the temperature.

They are directly proportional to each other.

The more the temperature, the more the diffusion rate. This is because when something is hot, its particles vibrate faster. When they vibrate more, there will be easy movement and hence , diffusion will be more.

Quite reverse happens in a cold substance. As the particles vibrate very less, there will be less diffusion.
