Given :  To do a work 3 men takes 5 days less than 9 boys  .  3 boys and 2 men can do the work in 6 days

To find :  in how many days the work will be completed by one man and one boy

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say Man do work in 1 day  = M

& Boy do work in  1  Day  =  B

.3 boys and 2 men can do the work in 6 days.

=>  Total Work = 3 * 6 * B  + 2  * 6 * M

= 18B  + 12 M

Days taken by 9 Boys  = (18B + 12M)/9

Days taken by 3 Men  =  ( 18B  + 12 M)/3  = 6B + 4M

6B + 4M =   (18B + 12M)/9  - 5

=> 54B + 36M = 18B + 12M - 45

=> 36B  + 24M = -45

=> 18B + 12M  = -45/2

Work = - 45/2

Work can not be - ve

Hence there is some mistake in data
