in the end of mahabharata arjun performs the durga puja. but to complete the puja a perfect man must sacrifice his life. only krishna arjun and iravan , arjun's son were considered perfect. so iravan had to sacrifice his life. before dying iravana wishes to marry. since nobody wants to marry him krishna takes his mohini avatar and marries him . krishna also cries like a woman on iravana's death
