Given:

Two identical styofoam balls

charges are +q and -q

To find:

Coulombs law to describe the charge induction.

Solution:

Let us suppose that charge on one ball is +q, when the another body bring in contact with it this will induce the -q in that ball.

Therefore there is attraction between them.

So, coulomb law:

F=k(q.q)/r²

The same force acting on the both balls.

So the force be F=k(q.q)/r².
