Today I have written this letter to convey about the reason behind my poor performance in half-yearly examinations. As you have received my result last week, I was disappointed with my result as well. The reason why I was not able to perform well was due to my tournaments that were held between the examinations. Due to long hour practices, I was unable to focus on my studies well. However, I was not able to make time and used to be tired. In my final examinations, I will surely try my best and work harder.
