To fill a tank, 25 buckets of water is required. How many buckets of water will be required to fill the same tank if the capacity of the bucket is reduced to two-fifth of its present ?

let capacity of bucket = x litre
then capacity of tank = 25*x = 25x litre

if capacity of bucket is reduced to 2/5 of its present,
capacity of bucket = (2x/5)litre

no. of buckets of water required to fill the tank =  \frac{25x}{2x/5} = \frac{25x}{2x}*5= \frac{25*5}{2} = 62.5\ buckets

62.5 buckets of water will be required to fill the same tank
