Hey there ✋✋,

Here's the answer:-

I hope you meant AP : AB = 2:5

If yes then Let AP = 2x cm and AB = 5x cm

We know already that AB = 6cm

=> 5x = 6cm

=> x = 6cm/5 = 1.2 cm

So, AP = 2x = 2.4 cm

PB = AB - AP = 6.0-2.4 = 3.6 cm

So, ratio by which line is divided = 1.2 : 3.6 = 1.2×10:3.6×10 = 12:36 = 1:3

So, finally the ratio is 1:3

HOPE IT HELPS ☺
