Henri Fayol stated that an individual’s interest is not considered much when compared to general interest. Individual interest focuses mainly on achieving individual objectives whereas organisational interest focuses on achieving the goals of an organisation. There should always be a coordination between the individual and organisational interests. The organisational manager should always try to integrate the interest of both such that both the objectives are satisfied.
