Western Himalayas: These are very high.
The average annual rainfall is less than 100cm.
Srinagar , Shimal , Manali are famous hill stations.

Eastern Himalayas: These are of medium height.
The average annual rainfall is more than 200cm.
Darjeeling,and Shillong are the famous hill stations.
