parenchyma is more abundant in non-woody plants not that they are absent in woody plants.. they are present in nonwoody plants too.
parenchyma is composed of thin-walled cells. It is a living tissue. It differentiates and further de-differentiates itself on reaching maturity to form vascular cambia.
Sclerenchyma is composed of thick-walled cells. the cell walls are lignified. It is a dead tissue. Sclerenchyma does not differentiate or de-differentiate itself on reaching maturity instead, they die. Sclerenchyma tissue is found abundantly in woody plants in stems and barks.
Hope this helps :)
