Height of the cylindrical tank = 2m ( given )

Base Radius or Radius ( r ) = 50cm ( given )

Radius in metres ( m ) = 50/100 = 0.5m

Area of sheet required = Total Surface Area of the cylindrical tank.

= 2 × π × r ( r + h ) or 2πr ( r + h )

= 2 × 22 × 0.5m ( 0.5m + 2m )

7

= 44 × 0.5 ( 2.5m )

7

= 22 × 2.5m

7

= 22/7 × 25/10

= 550/70

= 7.857 m² ( approx ) sheet required.

Hope its help..

Thank You..
