60.4 + 40.4 + 40.2 = 141.0 \\ 141 \times 2 = 282

Answer:  Maximum Volume will be 96000 cm³.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Length of tank = 60.4 cm

Breadth of tank = 40.4 cm

Width of tank = 40.2 cm

Since, glass sheet of 2 mm = 0.2 cm guage is used.

so, it becomes

New length becomes = 60.4-0.2-0.2=60 cm

New breadth becomes = 40.4-0.2-0.2=40 cm

New height becomes = 40.2- 0.2 = 40 cm

So, Maximum volume of water that will be contained in it is given by

Length\times breadth\times height\\\\=60\times 40\times 40\\\\=96000\ cm^3

Hence, Maximum Volume will be 96000 cm³.
