mass of solution = mass of salt + mass of water
= 40g + 280g
= 320g
mass % of salt = (mass of salt/mass of solution) × 100
= (40/320) × 100
= 12.5%
mass % of water = (280/320)×100
= 87.5%

= 40g + 280g
= 320g
mass % of salt = (mass of salt/mass of solution) × 100
= (40/320) × 100
= 12.5%
mass % of water = (280/320)×100
= 87.5%
Thanks
