The ratio given is 3:2

So,

Let the amount of yellow paint be 3x

and the amount of blue paint be 2x

Given : amount of yellow paint used = 12 litres

therefore,

3x = 12 litres

x = 4 litres

Hence amount of blue paint used = 2x = 2×4 = 8 litres

Answer : 8 litres

Hope this helps
