Photosynthesis is the process bywhich plants, some bacteria and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce glucose from carbon dioxide and water. This glucose can be converted into pyruvate which releases adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by cellular respiration. Oxygen is also formed.

Put a burning candle and a plant together.And cover them by a beaker so that its surrounding will only have vacuum.

You will find candle still burning with vacuum surrounding due to release of O2 by plant during photosynthesis.
