Molarity of solution = 0.05 M

Volume of solution = 100 mL => 0.1 L

Molarity = (moles of solute)/ (litres of solution)

0.05 = moles/0.1

moles of solute = 0.005 moles of H2C2O4

Molar mass of H2C2O4 = 2 + 24 + 64 => 90 grams per mole.

So, 0.005 moles of H2C2O4 is 90 x 0.005 => 0.45 grams of H2C2O4.

Hence, to prepare 100 mL of 0.05 M Oxalic acid solution 0.005 moles of H2C2O4 or 90 grams of H2C2O4 must be dissolved.
