Naishma, the Travel of a Star” was born in 2003 as a theater play for kids. My brother, Jonay Roda, had the idea to write this play for his kids to learn about the solar system in a very unique and fun way.
Naishma ... hypnotizes by the extension of the story, a personified description of the solar system, which absorbs and envelopes you from the farthest planets to your destination: the blue planet, Earth.
Jonay Roda, physicist and high school teacher, was able to translate a master class on the characteristics of planets, asteroids and stars in an absolutely didactic, fun and, above all, tender work.
The book also includes aliens and solves the hypothesis that the sun will be extinguishedAfter 15 years, with a solid career as a storyteller I decided to transform this theater play into a Children’s book. I’m teaming up with my illustrator and friend Lizzy Rodriguez, who has a book published. We are taking this amazing story and re-writing it so we can, once again, give a voice to our solar system. We want to make sure every kid in this world can learn and have fun alongour character.
