To stich a SHIRT 3m 5cm CLOTH is needed. Out
of 40 km CLOTH, How many CLOTH SHIRT can be
stitched and How much cLOTH will remain​

As we know that

1m = 100cm

1km = 100000cm

So,

3m5cm is = 3×100+5

= 300+5 = 305cm

and

40 km is = 4000000cm

Now let's find out the number of shirts can be stitched and the cloth remained.

4000000÷305cm = 13114.7540

Therefore, the 13114 shirts can be stitched from 40km of cloth & 0.754098361 cm cloth is left over.
