hiii!!!
here's ur answer...
total length of cloth = 40m
length cloth required to stitch one shirt = 2m 15cm = 2.15m
therefore total no. of shirts can be stitched =
2.15 × 20 = 43
2.15 × 19 = 40.85
2.15 × 18 = 38.7
hence 18 shirts can be stitched.
length of cloth will remain = 40 - 38.7
= 1.3m
hope this helps..!!

Heya....
________________________
Total Available cloth = 40 m
1 shirt = 2m 15 cm
1 shirt = 2.15 m
We Know That.
2.15 * x = 40 m
40/2.15 = x
Least Number divisible is 18
Hence, 18 shirts will be stitched
2.15 * 18 = 38.7
40.38.7 = 1.3 m cloth will be left
or,
1m 03 cm cloth will be left

Thanks....
Hope this Helps....
