Solution:-
(-2-√3)(-2+√3)

= (-2)^2 -[3^1/2]^2

= 4 -3

= [1]ans

Here is the answer you were looking for:

(-2 - √3)(-2 + √3)

Using the identity
(a + b)(a - b) = (a)^2 - (b)^2

Let a be -2
and b be √3

= (-2)^2 - (√3)^2

= 4 - 3

= 1
