Put iron nails in copper sulphate solution which is of blue colour. After sometimes solution will become of light green color and there will be brown deposits on iron nail. This is because fe is more reactive than cu and it displaces cu from its salt solution( cuso4 soln) and forms ferrous sulphate solution which is of light green colour. It is displacement reaction in which fe displaces cu from its salt solution because fe is more reactive than cu.
