in easy words,5% salt solution means a solution generally of water(95%) and salt(5%)or any other solvent,5% salt solution means a solution in which presence of salt is 5% I.e. out of 100 molecules of the solution 5 molecules are of salt,hope it may help u

(a) 5g Salt is to be dissolved in 100 mL of water

(b) 5g Salt is to be dissolved in 100g of water

(c) 5g Salt is dissloved in 95g of water

(d) 5g Salt is dissolved in 105g of the Solution
