To which kingdom and phylum does organism EUGLENA { which possesses both plant and animal characteristics } fall into and why ?

protista.... they are not plants they have green colour cuz they eat green algae they keep algae inside their bodies to make their own food....this is their adaptation

EUGLENA belong to euglenoids in kingdom protista which are unicellular eukaryotes.Both plant and animal characters is seen in these that is in the presence of sunlight these act as photosynthetic and when deprived of sunlight these behave like heterotrophs.
