Answer:
if it continues then it will lead to a world of pollution
it will b depleted soon within 100 years if used in same way
we should go for alternatives such as electric solar animals etc as they r less polluting

The increase in demand for petroleum will lead to;
- Rise in competition among the buyers since there is no change in supply.
- Thus the price of petroleum will increase rapidly.
- This leads to excessive drilling, which will rapidly exhaust this nonrenewable source of energy.
- Along with it pollution and non-degradable petroleum waste increase, which eventually affects the balance of our ecosystem.
- Excessive drilling also affects sea and sea life.
- It also causes erosion, leading to land degradation.
If it continues it will lead to an energy crisis as well cause ecological imbalance.
We should take the following steps to mitigate such conditions;
- Start using alternate sources of energy.
- Invest in renewable energy sources.
- Practice reducing, recycling, and reusing.
- Create awareness about its impact and importance.
