by the maxwells right hand thumb rule we can say that current carrying in a straight conduc in the given fig magnetic field lines direction is anti clock wise
at point x it is less

Since the current is flowing downward,when we apply maxwells rule,it shows clockwise right.and if the current flows upward anti clockwise?
i think answer is zero.
as the field lines around the point is equal and opposite
