It is somehow wrong. Because sometimes if your friend will do some wrong then as you are following him/ her you will also do that even after knowing that its wrong.
Sometimes your friend even can suggest you the decisions that is not good for you but you will accept all those.
If you are 100% sure that your friend is honest by heart then only follow him..but if you are following him that should also be in limit.
As you know "excess of everything is bad".
