Herbal medicines are those medicines which are purely made by herbs. They don’t have any side effects. Many well established medicines originally come from plants. For example, the painkiller morphine comes from poppies, aspirin comes from the bark of willow trees and dioxin (a drug used to treat heart failure) comes from foxgloves.

Traditional herbal medicines have been used in the UK for centuries. Although there are other conventional medical treatments available, herbal medicines remain popular even today

Though it is classed as a complementary medicine in the UK, it’s actually the most widely practiced form of medicine across the world 80 percent of the world’s population is dependent on herbs for their health.

Benefits of Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine can treat almost any condition that patients might take to their doctor. Common complaints seen by herbalists include skin problems such as psoriasis, acne and eczema, digestive disorders such as peptic ulcers, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome and indigestion.

Problems involving the heart and circulation like angina, high blood pressure, varicose veins, varicose ulcers etc. can also be treated successfully as can gynecological disorders like premenstrual syndrome and menopausal problems. Conditions such as arthritis, insomnia, stress, migraine and headaches, tonsillitis, influenza and allergic responses like hay fever and asthma can also be treated with herbal medicine.

Good Morning one and all, I (Your name) am going to share my thoughts on the topic 'Nature's medicine'

Friends, first of all I would like to familiarise you with what actually is nature? It is the most beautiful and expensive gift man has ever received. Ever since man has evolved, he has learnt from his surroundings, the beautiful explanation give by the nature is what has helped man to learn, and perform.

Coming back to the topic, Nature's medicine.
The plant kingdom has shown immense connectivity with the animal world. It can be widely seen that the natural chemicals released by the nature can be used to treat human beings.Natural or herbal medicines are based on historical or cultural traditions rather than scientific evidence

It is rather a best source of treatment. Also known as Ayurveda. Many people actually prefer Ayurvedic medicines over Allopathic or Homeopathic. Ayurveda, unlike allopathic, does not have any side-effects. which is again one reason for why people prefer it.

Certainly Nature is a gift. We must not destroy it. Rather it is our duty to learn from nature and value it like we value mobiles and electronics now-a-days.

Ever-since the birth and advancements of technology, we have totally forgot about nature. We must accept it. It is a precious gift that must not be destroyed!!

Thank you
