8.a) ∠BAE = ∠AED = 35° (interior opposite angles are equal)
∠ACD = ∠CDE + ∠CED ( exterior angle of a triangle = sum of interior angles)
= 35° + 53° = 88°
so, ∠ACD = 88°
b) the point in the line OL where 60° and other angles are formed, let it be R.
PQ║ OL
so, ∠PQR + ∠QRO = 180° (sum of interior angles on the same side of transversal sum upto 180°)
so, ∠QRO = 70°
∠ORS = 130° = ∠RST
as, interior opposite angles are equal, so it satisfies the property of parallel lines. so, OL║ST.
