Being a celebrity for a day would be pretty cool, if I'm being honest. Sure, the paparazzi might get old and having to constantly be traveling more than I'm sleeping might be a struggle, but that's why I thought long and hard about what celebrity I would be. I wanted to be someone who lined up most with me as a person, had some of the same values I do, and is able to work out while getting a good night's sleep. In case you hadn't guessed it, I don't want to be a Kardashian or a Jenner. I am also not interested in being a model because I love pizza and I love sports.

The celebrity I would be for a day would be J.J. Watt. He is a defensive end for the Houston Texans. Although he was an 11th round pick in 2011, in 2014 he became the highest paid non-quarterback player. Chances are if you keep up with the NFL, you know about J.J. Watt. But this isn't why I like him so much. Don't get me wrong; meeting him was one of the best moments ever and when I got his autograph, selfies with him, and did multiple interviews about him, I thought that I would never stop smiling, but he is so much more than a great football player to me.

He has his own charity that he started 4 years ago. The goal of the foundation is to give middle school kids opportunities to participate in after school activities that will help them build character traits including accountability, teamwork, leadership, and work ethic. Not only does he raise money for this, but he has also donated and volunteered in his home town and visits sick children in the hospital.

He is very close with his family. He bought his mom a Range Rover in 2014 to give back to her after all the years that she has given to him. He has two younger brothers who also play football in college and they want to go to the pros like their older brother. When he had to move from Wisconsin to Texas to play football, he said that he was homesick, but that he knew it was the right move. This reminds me of myself. I might have to move to a different state and I am so incredibly close to my family that I don't know what I will do, but I figure if J.J. Watt can do it, so can I.

I probably should have mentioned this first, but I am a huge sports enthusiast. I love football (obviously) and hockey and baseball. J.J. Watt played many sports as a kid and still gets a chance to brush up on some skills while he is with the kids that participate in his foundation. Maybe they have a marketing position available...

J.J. Watt constantly participates in the community and gets a good night's sleep. His dad is a firefighter and he is close with his mom, dad, and brothers. I love everything that he stands for and I love the kind of character that he shows. I would love to be someone this great for a day.
