"Number of bones in the hind limb is (a) 30

The hind limb is separated into three parts namely thigh, leg and foot.

Thigh is the region between hip and knee. The thigh bone is called Femur.

The bone at knee cap is called Patella.

Leg consists of two bones which are called as tibia and fibula.

The foot’s posterior portion which forms the ankle has seven tarsal bones and the mid-foot has seven elongated metatarsal bones. Distal end of foot contains toes which are made up of fourteen small bones called the phalanges.
