Answer: 10

Step-by-step explanation:

22:27

Salary of A = (22/49)*245 = 110

B = 135

(110-x)/(135-x) = 4/5

550-5x = 540-4x

x = Rs.10

The deduction is Rs 10.

Explanation:

Given : Total salary of two employees is rs 245 . They get the salary in the ratio of 22 : 27.

Let 22x and 27x denote the salaries of the employees.

Then,

22x+27x=245\\\\ 49x =245\\\\ x=\dfrac{245}{49}\\\\ x=5

Then, the salaries of the employees will be

Rs 22(5) = rs 110

and Rs 27 (5)  = rs 135

Let the common amount deducted by y , then

\dfrac{110-y}{135-y}=\dfrac{4}{5}

5(110-y)=4(135-y)\\\\ 550-5y= 540-4y\\\\ 5y-4y=550-540\\\\ y=10

Hence , the deduction is Rs 10.
