on touching a hot object, u withdraw ur hand within a fraction of a second. the sensory nerves of our hand instantly sends an impulse to the spinal cord about the danger of the hot object. the motor nerves from the spinal cord immediately responses by withdrawing the hand. thus It is a reflex action.
