India has got the potential to boast itself of being the land of diversed and different , climate , flora , fauna , religions , languages , dialects , dressing patterns , life styles and rituals . Even though the Indian tourism and hospitality Industry has emerged as one of the key drivers of growth among the service sectors , India's unique potential is not being utilised up to the mark . In my opinion the tourism industry has still miles to go . Tourism must be promoted as it indirectly generates more employment and increases our economy due to the flow of foreign money . Development of infrastructure and establishment of overseas offices are of vital importance to promote Indian tourism and meet the needs of the tourists. Also it is important to provide the best services of Air India and Indian Rail, and to start different packages of different destinations to attract more tourists and thus in this way India would lead national development in many spheres .
