Given data :

  • Town A is 200 kilometre far from town B.

  • A person can travel in a car from town A to town B in 4 hour.

  • A man travels at a constant speed.

To find : The speed of the car in (kmph).

Solution :

According to given,

Distance from town A to B = 200 km

Time taken by man to cover distance from town A to B = 4 hour ( with constasnt speed )

Now, we use formula to calculate speed of car :

→ speed = distance/time

→ speed = 200/4

→ speed = 50 km/hr

Answer : Hence, when man travels the car at a constant speed then the speed of the car is 50 km/hr.

More info :

50 km/hr = { [50 * 1000]/[60 * 60 ] } m/s

→ 50 km/hr = { 50000/3600 } m/s

→ 50 km/hr = { 50000/3600 } m/s

→ 50 km/hr = { 125/9 } m/s

→ 50 km/hr = 13.89 m/s
