The Iraq invaded  Kuwait on 2 August 1990, it was a two day operation which results in Iraq invading its neighbouring country Kuwait. The United nations council ask the Iraq to move of from Kuwait. But the Iraq army refuses to move of from Kuwait, which results in a war known as Gulf war, the united nations led an army headed by the UnitedStates, which destroys the Iraq army as aresult of it Kuwait Oilwells were set to fire.

• Iraq's army started moving towards Kuwait with its powerful tanks. In just a few hours, Iraq had taken Kuwait to its possession. Within just the two days, Iraq's army occupied a large part of Kuwait.

• Against the occupation of the Iraq, 39 countries in the world, including America and Britain, launched an operation, Operation Desert Storm.
