EBS, Electronic Block storage consists of high-performance, persistent, and high availability storage block that can be "attached" to a "running instance" of EC2. The data that are present in the Electronic Block Storage can be "accessed" through EC2. This can be done through Command Line tools or other third party tools. EBS is the most secured and cost effective storage space in current time.
