Using the Snell’s law we can write, Sin i/Sin r = µ2/ µ1 = 1.5/1. Hence, Sin r = (Sin i * 10)/ 15. It is given that, ∠i=45°.

Then we can write, Sin r = Sin45 * (10/15) or, r = 28.13°. As, ∠i=∠e =45°.

Lateral displacement cannot be measured as the thickness of the glass slab is not given.
