False. Trade, industry, and commerce are not just the chief marks of the urban economy, they are a part of rural economy too.


Even in rural zones, there is trade going on between different tradesmen. For instance, selling out vegetables, clothing, and other household item comes in a trade.


Although everything happens on a small scale, still there is trade and commerce.
